In the name of God amen, on the 21st day of March 1768, John Emanuel of the Parish of Saint George in the province of Georgia being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind and memory than xxbe almighty God for all his marvel calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is ordained for all men on earth to die. I do make an ordinary last will and testament in manner and for my following that is to say is for my soul. I reccomend it into the hands of god my xxxxx and my redeemer by whatever merrits alone.
