Isaac Countryman DescendantsIsaac Countryman was likely the first of Fannie Lee Countryman’s direct Countryman ancestors to immigrate to the USA where eventually he settled in Seneca County, New York. Isaac Countryman was born in about 1800; however, little about his life prior to the 1840 federal census is well documented. George Washington Countryman was the youngest child of Issac Countryman and his wife Elen (Voorhees) Countryman. Following service in the Union Army during the American Civil War, George Countryman and his family migrated from New York to Kansas. His son Fredrick Glonar Countryman married in Kansas and subsequently migrated to Oklahoma, settling at Fairview in Major County where a daughter Fannie Lee Countryman was born on 22 Jan 1914.
