Woodcock was a land owner.

His wife, Julia (Alworth) Woodcock was 60 years old and born in Jul 1839 in New York. The parents of both Hiram and Julia Woodcock were born in New York.

Hiram G. Woodcock died in the Cedar Township of Calhoun County on 20 Oct 1903 (222). His remains are interred in the Cedar Township Cemetery in Calhoun County, Iowa (32). At his death, Hiram G. Woodcock was 70 years old.
