Notes and Comments

The tombstone at the grave of Wylie Bohannon Ragan in Highland Park Cemetery at Iowa Park in Wichita County, Texas is marked William B. Ragan, but almost certainly this is the grave of Wylie Bohannon Ragan. An application for the tombstone made by Mrs. Frank L. Emanuel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma lists W. Bohannon Ragan; Ragan, William B. was added in read handwriting, presumably by the agency processing the request (1293).
