On 12 Sep 1680, Jonathan Case, Captain Charles Barham, and William Seward are bound to the Court. Jonathan Case is ordered to pay to Edward, orphan of Edward Browne, deceased, his part of his father’s estate. John Rutherford and William Foreman witnessed.

On 1 May 1672, Edward Browne the sonne of Edward Browne, and of this County deceased, petitioned the Court that he may be forthwith possessed, with what estate belongeth to him, who is as he present de that Age. And the Court so ordered.

Assuming that Edward Browne, II was 21 years of age on 1 May 1672, then he was born Abt May 1651.

On 4 May 1665, Edward Browne purchased 200 acres of land in Isle of Wight County, being one-half of a patent for 400 acres, from John Clarke and Katherine his wife.

Witnesses: Thomas Gultney, Elizabeth Browne, and George Watkin.

The deed was recorded on 7 May 1666.
